About the role
We are seeking a Network Operations & Transmission Monitoring Specialist to provide 24x7 operational support for network monitoring, incident management, carrier coordination, and service assurance across transmission and transport technologies. This role is based in Pune and is ideal for individuals with experience in network operations centres (NOC), transmission networks, alarm monitoring, and service restoration activities.
What you'll do
- Monitor network alarms and alerts across multiple transmission technologies in a 24x7 operational environment
- Raise, manage, and progress incident tickets through to appropriate resolution teams
- Validate alerts using network management systems, databases, and planned network activity records
- Perform initial troubleshooting and basic service impact assessments
- Coordinate with carriers to raise faults, track progress, and ensure timely restoration of services
