About the role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Application Database Administrator with 4–7 years of relevant experience to support database administration and critical operational activities from SP Infocity, Pune . The role focuses on Oracle database administration, performance tuning, high availability, backup and recovery, upgrades and migrations, security, monitoring and operational automation.
What you'll do
- Administer and support production Oracle databases and associated operational activities
- Analyse database and application performance bottlenecks, including scripts, code and user-generated queries that affect application performance
- Perform SQL and database performance tuning and support DML operations
- Monitor databases using tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager and Grafana
- Contribute to proactive monitoring, alert tuning, dashboarding and log analysis using observability technologies such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Kibana, Splunk or Zabbix
