About the role
We are seeking a skilled Unified Communications and VoIP Operations Engineer to provide second-line operational support for Cisco Unified Communications and Voice over IP solutions serving global enterprise customers. This role is responsible for incident resolution, root cause analysis, service availability, customer onboarding, technical change implementation, and identifying opportunities to automate operational activities.
What you'll do
- Provide end-to-end second-line technical support for unified communications services and associated data centre infrastructure
- Diagnose, investigate and resolve customer-reported incidents within agreed service levels
- Act as a technical escalation point and coordinate with technology vendors to support issue resolution
- Plan, assess, test and implement service changes while ensuring platform stability and service continuity
- Onboard new customers into the production environment through configuration, testing and inventory updates
