About the role
We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially aware Chartered Accountant to join the Direct Tax practice as a Manager – Direct Tax. The role involves working closely with the leadership team to ensure high-quality client delivery across Direct Tax Advisory and Litigation, with a focus on Corporate Taxation and International Taxation.
What you'll do
- Tax Advisory and Litigation
- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple tax advisory and litigation projects within defined timelines
- Advise clients on complex direct taxation matters, including corporate tax and international tax issues
- Work closely with Senior Managers and Directors to lead and execute tax engagements
- Manage and coordinate tax submissions, assessments, and appeal hearings before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals), Tribunals, High Courts, and the Supreme Court
