About the role
In this role, you will provide trade finance subject matter expertise and advisory support across letters of credit, documentary collections, Standby Letter of Credits, and related trade products.
What you'll do
- Provide trade finance advisory and subject matter expertise on letters of credit, documentary collections, and related trade products
- Review and provide guidance on complex or escalated trade transactions, document examination matters, discrepancies, and interpretation of trade terms and conditions
- Apply working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, operational risk
- Serve as a point of contact for complex trade-related questions, exceptions, and escalations, engaging management and relevant partners when appropriate
- Partner with Trade Services operations, risk, compliance, legal, and other internal stakeholders, as appropriate
