About the role
As a Linguist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality localization services, including translation, post-editing, proofreading, and linguistic review activities across various projects. Your focus will be on producing natural, accurate, and culturally appropriate content in Hindi while ensuring alignment with the source text's intent, tone, and communication objectives.
What you'll do
- Perform translation, post-editing, copy-editing, and proofreading tasks between English and Hindi using designated translation and localization tools
- Handle a wide range of content types, including marketing materials, UI strings, creative content, legal content, and other localized assets
- Review and understand project requirements, target audience expectations, and machine translation (MT) quality before starting assignments
- Effectively utilize CAT tools and other supporting platforms required for localization work, such as query management systems and UI review tools
- Adhere to established workflows and processes, including raising queries, reporting issues, and proactively communicating risks or blockers to relevant stakeholders
