About the role
Enterprise Compute Home-Office provides the managed operating system, managed virtualization & managed hardware support. Enterprise hosts a variety of corporate workloads which are often based on stateful and/or proprietary architecture. Team Provides secure, well-connected, scalable, segmented, highly available, fully managed environment for hosting mission critical workloads Focused on Enterprise and managed private cloud hardware.
What you'll do
- Design & Develop : Build microservices, CLIs, APIs and automation tooling in Python (primary), plus Java/Go where appropriate
- Compute Infrastructure : Implement services for provisioning, orchestration, scheduling, capacity management
- Operating Systems & Virtualization Management: SME in Managing and assisting the Unix & Linux operating systems
- Responsibilities include monitoring, automating, troubleshooting, and supporting virtual environments to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Additionally, the role requires providing occasional on-call support as part of a Follow-the-Sun (SUN) support model
