About the role
The Workstation Engineer is responsible for the design, lifecycle management, security, standardization, and continuous improvement of Worldwide's end-user computing environment. This role ensures that employee devices, operating systems, endpoint management platforms, and productivity tools remain secure, reliable, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
What you'll do
- Own and maintain the global workstation hardware roadmap
- Define and manage approved standards for laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, peripherals, and mobile computing devices
- Develop lifecycle and refresh strategies for end-user hardware
- Recommend future-state endpoint solutions aligned with business, security, and operational requirements
- Collaborate with Procurement and vendors to evaluate new hardware platforms and technologies
