Application engineer

About the role

We are seeking experienced Application Engineers to support a large-scale carve-out engagement. The role focuses on the assessment, remediation, migration, and stabilization of business-critical applications as they move from the parent company’s environment into a new standalone target environment.

What you'll do

• Perform application discovery, dependency mapping, and readiness assessments for applications in scope of the carve-out
• Analyze current-state architecture, interfaces, integrations, and technical debt; document target-state requirements
• Plan and execute application migrations (lift-and-shift, re-platform, or re-factor) including packaging, configuration, and cutover activities
• Remediate application code, configurations, and dependencies to ensure compatibility with the new infrastructure, identity, security, and network stack
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, data, and business teams to manage interfaces, data feeds, and integration points
