AI engineer

About the role

In this role, you will combine your expertise in Python, distributed systems, API development, and cloud technologies with Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) integration to develop scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. You will design and implement LLM-powered applications using tool/function calling, agent orchestration, and AI engineering patterns, taking solutions from prototype to production.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and distributed systems using Python
• Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices that enable reliable communication between applications, services, and AI-powered systems
• Develop and deploy production-grade LLM-powered applications using tool/function calling, enabling AI agents to interact with APIs, query databases, and trigger workflows
• Implement AI agent orchestration, prompt engineering, and LLM integration using OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models
• Design and optimize asynchronous processing, data stores, and backend workflows to support scalable application performance
