Analyst, Corporate Development

About the role

Sitting at the intersection of strategy and M&A execution, the team partners closely with senior leadership across every department at Cvent in the full acquisition lifecycle including sourcing and identification, business case formulation, financial analysis, valuation negotiation, due diligence, and closing.

What you'll do

• Assist in the identification and preliminary analysis of potential acquisition candidates
• Perform detailed analysis on potential acquisitions, including a review of historical 3-statement trends, detailed P&L and cash flow forecasting, customer retention
• Liaise with department leads as the central project manager of due diligence workstreams, including data-room coordination, milestone tracking, and checklist management
• Own the Corporate Development team’s market landscape database and monitor key developments
