About the role
The Application Engineering Technical Lead II leads the design and delivery of scalable, secure, cloud-native applications and platform capabilities. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership across Java, AWS, event-driven/serverless architecture, APIs, modern front-end technologies, and platform engineering.
What you'll do
- Lead the design and development of scalable applications and event-driven, serverless solutions on AWS
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on engineering across Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React, Angular, and APIs
- Build and enhance reusable platform capabilities, infrastructure, tooling, and shared services
- Drive platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence through effective coding, testing, monitoring, and engineering practices
- Design and integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
