Assistant Manager - EHS

About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. As an Assistant Manager - EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), you will play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and sustainable operations across an active project site.

What you'll do

• Review and approve Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plans, manuals, emergency rescue plans, and evacuation procedures submitted by contractors
• Deliver task-specific safety training to site managers, supervisors, and workers to strengthen awareness and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Conduct Health Risk Assessment (HRA) audits, prepare detailed reports, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures
• Guide contractors and vendors in implementing the Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act, 1996, and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
• Establish, implement, and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) systems across site activities
