BIOS Firmware Development Engineer

About the role

As a Sr. Firmware/BIOS Engineer, you will drive the design and implementation of firmware/BIOS solutions for IP and subsystem components within System-on-Chip (SoC) products. This role requires a strong foundation in SoC and system-level architecture, firmware development in resource-constrained environments, and hardware/firmware co-engineering methodologies to ensure the highest quality product delivery.

What you'll do

• As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will Drive end-to-end BIOS/firmware design, implementation, integration, debug
• Work closely with hardware, architecture, platform, validation, security, and program teams to define requirements, resolve issues and drive the implementation
• Design and Implement scalable, modular, and maintainable firmware/BIOS solutions across IP, SoC, and platform layers, ensuring correctness, extensibility
• Design, implement, and debug embedded firmware/BIOS in constrained environments using C, C++, and Python across pre-silicon and post-silicon phases
• Drive enablement of new silicon capabilities, platform features, and third-party components within the BIOS/firmware stack
