Credit and Collections Manager

About the role

This Manager role within Databricks’ Credit & Collections organisation is responsible for driving credit strategy, strategic customer collections, AR performance, and complex escalations across a high-growth, usage-based Data/AI business. The role combines financial and commercial judgment with hands-on customer engagement, functional oversight of collection operations, and governance of the outsourced collections model.

What you'll do

• Responsible for driving credit strategy, strategic customer collections, AR performance, and complex escalations across a high-growth, usage-based Data/AI business
• Own credit assessment, risk reviews, credit limits, payment terms, credit holds/releases, and exception management within the established approval framework
• Make credit recommendations and decisions within delegated authority, balancing credit risk, cash conversion, and commercial considerations
• Lead resolution of complex disputes, contractual payment issues, and commercially sensitive collection matters
• Own the monthly AR performance framework, including collection targets, cash collected vs. target, CEI, ageing, write-offs, and cash forecasting
