Data Annotator - Backend Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking software engineering professionals to contribute their technical expertise to specialised data annotation, code evaluation, and AI training projects. You will work with real-world software repositories, open-source projects, and existing codebases to assess software engineering tasks and solutions.

What you'll do

• Navigate unfamiliar software repositories and understand their architecture, structure, dependencies, and implementation logic
• Review existing code and produce technical annotations covering functionality, logic, dependencies, implementation approaches, and correctness
• Analyse code modifications, commits, and pull requests to assess their impact and determine whether they address the intended problem
• Identify bugs, logical errors, implementation issues, and potential edge cases in existing codebases
• Evaluate AI-generated code, proposed fixes, and technical solutions for correctness, efficiency, maintainability, and compliance with requirements

What you need
