About the role

The Alternative Data Pipeline Engineering team supports Aladdin, BlackRock's investment management and technology platform, by building and operating reliable data products that acquire, transform, model, and distribute diverse datasets for investment, analytics, and platform use cases. The team partners across engineering, product, data specialists, and data consumers, with a focus on making high-quality data reliably and efficiently available.

What you'll do

• The scope of this role also includes the following
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain production-grade data pipelines and reusable ingestion and transformation components for structured and semi-structured data
• Develop scalable data models and extract, load, and transform (ELT) transformations, using advanced SQL to support complex workloads while optimizing performance
• Develop and operate reliable directed acyclic graph-based workflow orchestration frameworks for data and batch processing while implementing automated data-quality…
• Build modular, maintainable, well-tested solutions and improve engineering productivity through reusable frameworks, automation

What you need
