Data Engineer Senior Consultant

About the role

The QA / Test Engineer will provide independent quality assurance for the Microsoft Fabric solution, focusing on access and security validation, integration testing, UAT support and production-readiness evidence. The role will ensure that implemented platform, data and analytics components meet agreed functional, technical and operational acceptance criteria.

What you'll do

• Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on approved requirements and solution designs
• Independently validate workspace access, role assignments, permissions and security controls against the agreed access matrix
• Execute integration testing across Fabric platform components, data ingestion, transformation, semantic models and downstream consumption
• Perform data validation, source-to-target reconciliation, completeness checks and transformation testing using SQL and other relevant tools
• Support UAT planning, test execution, defect triage and coordination with business stakeholders
