Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines across cloud data platforms and enterprise systems. The role involves integrating data from diverse sources, including databases, REST APIs, industrial systems, and IoT platforms, and transforming it into high-quality, analytics-ready datasets.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using Python, Apache Spark, PySpark, and related technologies
• Build data ingestion and integration solutions connecting databases, REST APIs, files, cloud storage, enterprise applications, and industrial/IoT data sources
• Develop and maintain data flows using integration and orchestration tools such as Apache NiFi, including routing, transformation, error handling, and flow versioning
• Integrate with industrial and operational systems using technologies and interfaces such as OPC UA, AVEVA APIs, PI System, MQTT
• Work with enterprise systems such as SAP and other business applications to ingest, process, and contextualize operational and business data
