DevOps Engineer

About the role

You've moved past "I followed the runbook" and you're now at "I wrote the runbook, and then improved it." This role sits between our Jr. DevOps Engineer and our DevOps Manager/Lead — you're not new to this, but you're not running the whole show either. You take ownership of real pipelines, real environments, and real incidents, with a manager who trusts you to make the call and only wants to hear about it if it's actually on fire.

What you'll do

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for trunk-based development, working directly with development teams across time zones
• Design and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform or Bicep) — provisioning, environment consistency, and cleaning up the drift nobody wants to own
• Operate production MongoDB — routine administration, backup/restore testing, and enough comfort with Mongo Atlas to not panic during a replica set election
• Implement and maintain monitoring and centralized logging (Datadog, Site24x7, ELK, Splunk, or similar) so problems get caught before clients notice them
• Take a share of the on-call rotation and run incident response for your piece of the system — writing postmortems that name the actual cause

What you need

• 1–5 years in devops & cloud
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Azure
• CI/CD
• Jenkins
• Python
• Any graduate

Good to have

• AWS
• GCP
• Networking
