About the role

The Enterprise Risk Management & Risk Oversight (ERM&RO) organization within Global Risk and Compliance (a Second Line of Defense function) is responsible for identifying and managing risk across all business units, functions, processes, and geographies at American Express.

What you'll do

• Responsible for aggregating the risk profile for the Company
• Responsible for providing effective challenge on ERM on risk management practices across the enterprise
• Lead the design, maintenance, and execution of the processes to perform ERM framework and program adherence through their lifecycle
• Establish clear roles, responsibilities for ERM framework and program adherence processes across the enterprise
• Develop and provide appropriate guidance documents and training material to facilitate implementation of ERM framework and program adherence processes
