About the role

We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented **Duty Engineer** to join our team in Chennai, India. In this critical role, you'll be the backbone of our operational excellence, ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems run smoothly and efficiently. As a Duty Engineer, you'll take ownership of system performance, respond decisively to technical challenges, and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.

What you'll do

• Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability throughout your shift
• Perform routine preventive maintenance activities to reduce the risk of unexpected breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
• Respond quickly and decisively to emergencies, such as alarms or safety hazards, following established protocols and safety procedures
• Maintain detailed and organized records of equipment status, maintenance work performed, incidents, and system performance metrics
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards in all work activities
