EHS Compliance Engineer - Pune, Maharashtra

About the role

The Compliance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring complete and timely statutory, regulatory and operational compliance at the fertilizer manufacturing facility in Pune. The role will involve managing requirements under the Factories Act and applicable Maharashtra rules, MPCB requirements, statutory licenses and registrations, employee safety requirements, contractual compliances and other applicable laws .

What you'll do

• Statutory & Factory Compliance
• Ensure compliance with the Factories Act and applicable Maharashtra Factories Rules and other applicable labour, safety and manufacturing regulations
• Maintain and periodically update all statutory registers, records, notices, returns and prescribed documentation
• Coordinate statutory inspections, audits and visits by government/department officials
• Track observations, notices and compliance directions and ensure timely closure
