Electrical Engineering Principal

About the role

The Electrical Engineering Principal is responsible for development and management of global standard electrical documentation which includes: electrical calculations, equipment settings and switchboard transfer programs. They review project design documentation to check compliance with global standards.

What you'll do

• Participates in review and development of standard electrical calculations including MV and LV short circuit, selectivity and arc flash studies
• Manages the standard settings and calculations repository, interacting with internal teams and vendors to develop and maintain, equipment settings
• Develops processes to track and distribute standard calculations and settings
• Works with the major capital equipment team to review MV and LV equipment for compliance with global standards
• Reviews and contributes to the development of globally standardized tools, techniques and processes for the management and reporting of the design process
