Engineering Manager II - Monetisation

About the role

We are seeking a high-caliber Engineering Manager II to lead our Monetization Platform team. This team is the financial heartbeat of HighLevel, owning the entire billing and reselling architecture. Every transaction—from subscriptions and plans to usage-based charges and auto-recharges—flows through systems this team builds.

What you'll do

• Own architecture and scaling decisions for the monetisation platform — ledger and wallet design, subscription and plan management, usage rating, auto-recharge
• Guarantee financial correctness as a system property : double-entry ledger integrity, idempotency across every write path, exactly-once handling of usage events
• Work hands-on with technologies like NestJS, Firestore, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Queuing Systems, Data Warehousing Systems and Service Mesh-based microservices
• Lead design and execution of cross-cutting initiatives to improve reliability, latency
• Drive observability and resilience by evolving our monitoring, alerting (Prometheus/Grafana)
