About the role

This role ensures operational continuity, data integrity, and strategic alignment across global teams. The Assistant Manager will lead key initiatives, mentor team members, and contribute to product innovation, client engagement, and vendor management.

What you'll do

• Supervising and mentoring a team in Bangalore to ensure consistent delivery and adherence to FTSE Russell standards
• The role supports the Manager in driving operational excellence, cross-regional collaboration, and performance tracking
• It involves leading daily operations related to index data validation, updates, and maintenance across global indices
• The Assistant Manager will oversee research and validation of core index attributes including Free Float, Voting Rights, NICB, and Country Classification
• They will ensure timely and accurate updates to index datasets during quarterly reviews, rebalances, and reconstitutions, and maintain SQL databases and reporting tools
