Function Design Engineer

About the role

This role is responsible for supporting the design and development of Propulsion systems and capabilities in the system engineering core system at the logical and physical solution domain.

What you'll do

• Support the integration team on the design of PT propulsion systems, control Strategy/SFW concepts
• Support on robust requirements creation, cascade to commodities ( EDUs/Battery/EDS/BMS/Cooling etc ) and targets delivered on-cycle to programmes
• Help develop System artifacts ( use case analysis, LAD, FFA/DFMEA/DRBFM, DVP, requirements, standards) developed off-cycle and updated on-cycle as required
• Support development of new functions delivered by statement of capability (SOC) and Feature statement of intent (FSOI) process
• Contribute in the System compatibility Issues identification, and support on the solutions

• MATLAB

• Arbitration
• Any graduate
