What you'll do

  • Contribute to the development and execution of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities for software components and systems
  • Identify potential failure modes, assess their effects on system safety, and define mitigation strategies to eliminate or reduce associated risks
  • Ensure compliance with automotive safety standards, regulations, and guidelines, such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and SAE J3061
  • Apply expertise in embedded systems to assess and enhance the functional safety of software components and systems deployed in automotive environments
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers and system architects to integrate functional safety requirements into the design and development of embedded systems
