Implementation Data Analyst

About the role

The Implementation Data Analyst handles the data behind every new client onboarding: extracting, cleaning, loading, and reconciling client payroll, benefits, and employee data. This role requires accuracy and extreme attention to detail, since the data you load directly affects a client’s first payroll, tax filings, and benefit enrollments.

What you'll do

• Prepare prior year-to-date (YTD) payroll, tax, and benefits data for clients joining mid-year, and run validation checks before any data is loaded
• Reconcile YTD totals across wages, taxes, benefits, and retirement deductions, and flag variances to the Implementation Specialist with clear, concise notes
• Audit all tax and deduction setups before a client’s first payroll, checking deductions against plan terms, employee elections, annual 401(k) limits
• Process census and plan data from broker partners, prioritizing broker group files in the queue
• Run pre-load and post-load quality checks and maintain an audit trail of what was loaded and when

What you need

• 3–6 years in data & business analytics
• Excel
