Lead Engineer-Electronics (Hardware)

About the role

In this role, you will be leading a team responsible for complete Electronic product lifecycle development , and in-service support of the Cabin Systems for the Airbus aircraft programs. This new position is within the Cabin Electronics team, responsible for developing and supporting high quality products, satisfying customer needs for operating aircraft safely, securely and efficiently.

What you'll do

• You are involved in concept creation for new electronic equipment and you give inputs to specification and planning process
• Establish good Lab practices & maintain the Electronics Lab required to perform functional testing of Electronic products
• You generate all needed design data for Electronic products
• Develop electronic devices for cabin/systems (digital and analog design, initial operation and verification of prototypes)
• You create and evaluate documents for supplier selection and you will monitor subcontractors
