About the role

Lead Engineer - Hardware at Eaton. We are looking forward for lead engineer for technical leadership for Embedded hardware team as part of Embedded Controls of ES EMEA.

What you'll do

  • Lead and technically drive the Embedded Hardware RDE portfolio for Embedded Controls, ES EMEA, with a focus on electronics hardware development for Life Safety
  • Drive hardware engineering excellence, innovation, product and technology roadmaps, and strategic initiatives to improve quality
  • Technical leadership on electronics hardware development for Life Safety division across NPI, NTI and sustaining engineering programs
  • Lead end-to-end hardware product development from requirements and concept through design, verification, validation, certification and commercialization
  • Own system/subsystem specifications, hardware architecture, component selection, schematic design, PCB development, prototyping and product testing
