Lead Litigation - Indirect Tax

About the role

To handle former indirect taxes matters (such as central excise, service tax, VAT/CST, etc.) as well as GST matters (from Commissioner appeals onwards) which include drafting appeals, reviewing appeals, rectification applications, and writ petitions, filing these documents, and managing personal hearings related to the appeals process.

What you'll do

• Prepare monthly CFO MIS for management reporting
• Review orders received from units/zones and recommend further course of action
• Draft appeals or appoint advocates for drafting
• Coordinate with unit stakeholders for facts, documents, and supporting data
• Review appeal drafts and annexures
