Lead Platform Engineer – GitLab CI/CD | IDP| Terraform | AWS

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer / Developer Experience Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or related areas. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in GitLab CI/CD, Internal Developer Portals such as Backstage, AWS, Terraform, scripting, and observability tools .

What you'll do

• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Create and manage reusable GitLab pipeline templates, components, and automation frameworks
• Develop and enhance Internal Developer Portals (IDPs) using Backstage
• Build developer self-service capabilities and automation to improve engineering productivity
• Develop and maintain platform automation using Python and Bash scripting
