Mastercard’s Services - Portfolio Intelligence Program is seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer to drive the architecture, design, and delivery of high-performance analytics platforms that empower businesses worldwide to unlock maximum value from their data. You will play a pivotal role in shaping technical direction, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the team’s output meets the highest standards for quality and velocity.

What you'll do

• Drive technical leadership across the software development lifecycle, actively influencing architecture and design decisions
• Mentor and develop engineers through structured technical guidance, code reviews, and leading design discussions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
• Articulate technical decisions, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment
• Deliver high throughput and velocity without compromising engineering quality, acting as a force multiplier to enhance team productivity, execution speed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust, scalable software solutions

What you need

• 10–18 years in software engineering
