Linux Kernel Test Engineer - BareMetal and virtualization THE ROLE: The AMD Server Software and Solution engineering team is seeking a passionate Linux Kernel Test Engineer in our Linux Server Operating Systems team – bring a willingness to learn and absorb new concepts and technologies, along with a deep understanding of computer architecture and operating system concepts designed for the x86-64 architecture.

What you'll do

• Design and develop Linux Test cases for core CPU and SOC features for the Linux kernel BareMetal and virtualization and related open-source projects
• Work with the upstream Linux Kernel community to get these Test features merged into the mainline Linux Kernel and Kernel test projects
• Drive Test features and functionality to our partner technical teams including the Linux kernel community
• Work with upstream on maintaining Upstream Test project
• Support the solutions offered by our partner companies

What you need

• 5–9 years in quality assurance & testing
• Linux

• CI/CD
• C
• B.Tech or B.E.
