Manager, Platform Software Engineering

About the role

Manages a platform team’s operational outcomes; provides technical/functional leadership for shared services, SDKs, and integration frameworks. Ensures adherence to compatibility, rollout, and security standards; resolves moderately complex cross-service issues. Guides team-level observability, capacity planning, and resilience improvements.

What you'll do

• Operate a platform team roadmap that enforces compatibility, versioning, and safe rollout policies for shared services and SDKs
• Drive team-level observability baselines (SLOs, error budgets) and resilience patterns; ensure adherence during releases
• Coordinate cross-team incident response for platform issues, ensuring downstream consumer safety and clear remediation paths
• Manages team and may contribute to the design and development of code and software solutions and identifies and analyzes requirements
• Provides coaching and process execution for team to develop and guide new software features and enhancements following design specifications, ensuring accessibility
