Mechanical Designer

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of various mechanical designs like user interfaces, switches, display enclosures including plastic & metal, ceiling suspension, thermal simulation, Packaging and labelling etc. in the new product designs for Philips Image Guided therapy.

What you'll do

• Develop/ Review thermal simulation models, FEA, stack up tolerance etc
• Ensure that there is proper documentation for the design (e.g. Design calculations, FMEA, DFM, DFMA, FMEA, VAVE, Field data analysis, verification reporting)
• Ensure the mutual consistency and efficient integration of the separate modules in modular, easy-to-maintain units that meets the product specification
• Contribute to the sourcing strategy including make-buy decisions, supplier selection, and contract management

• FMEA
• ANSYS
• Fabrication
• Machining
• Any graduate
