Mechanical Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment used in the production of refractory products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and safe operations while adhering to industry standards for quality, cost, and safety.

What you'll do

• Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment used in the production of refractory materials
• Develop and improve refractory furnaces, kilns, and other high-temperature processing equipment
• Conduct research on new materials, technologies, and techniques to enhance product performance and manufacturing efficiency
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and modification of existing mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of machinery

What you need

• 5–7 years in mechanical & production
• AutoCAD
• Mechanical engineering
• ANSYS
• Lean manufacturing
• Six Sigma
• SolidWorks
• B.Tech or B.E.
