Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer with experience in process planning, CNC programming, cycle time estimation, and manufacturing process development. The candidate will be responsible for developing manufacturing processes for new components, programming and proving out parts on CNC machines, ensuring first-time-right production, and achieving defined quality and cycle time targets.

What you'll do

• Develop and define manufacturing processes for new components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies
• Carry out process planning for new parts based on engineering drawings and manufacturing requirements
• Estimate cycle times and identify opportunities for improving machining efficiency
• Develop and execute CNC programs for various machining operations
• Conduct part prove-outs on CNC machines to achieve required cycle time, accuracy, and quality standards
