About the role

Deposition Product Group at Lam India Global Hardware Technology (LIGHT) is hiring a Mechanical Technical Lead Engineer for its product development engineering and product ownership team. As a Mechanical Engineer at Lam, you will design and develop cutting-edge mechanical and electro-mechanical systems for wafer fabrication equipment.

What you'll do

• Support the full lifecycle of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems for advanced semiconductor fabrication equipment, from concept to productization
• Define project schedules, work breakdown structures, and milestones to drive concept-to-production lifecycle
• Conduct detailed hand calculations including: Structural analysis, Thermal and heat transfer analysis, Stress and vibration analysis, Fluid and gas flow dynamics
• Select OEM components and materials
• Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations for global cross-functional design reviews
