Principal Hardware Engineer

About the role

This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.

What you'll do

• Lead the development of next-generation routing and switching hardware platforms, taking complete ownership from concept and design through validation
• Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) programs as a technical lead, coordinating cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to deliver high-performance
• Define hardware design specifications, implement designs, and drive PCB development, including schematic reviews, layout validation, Gerber generation
• Lead high-speed board bring-up, system-level debugging, fault analysis, Design Verification Testing (DVT)
• Drive hardware design and validation involving CPU and memory architectures, including DDR4/DDR5, PCIe, SPI, XGMII, XFI, and XAUI interfaces
