Principal Security Architect

About the role

Microsoft Specialized Clouds Security Fundamentals is responsible for developing the foundational security capabilities that enable Microsoft to securely operate commercial, sovereign, and specialized cloud environments. We are seeking a Principal Security Architect to provide technical leadership across Azure platform architecture, security, networking, and cloud infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Define architecture and technical strategy for security platforms and services across Azure, sovereign, and specialized cloud environments
• Drive scalable, secure, and resilient designs for cloud infrastructure, networking, identity, and access management solutions
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance for complex security and infrastructure initiatives
• Identify platform-level challenges and drive long-term solutions that improve scalability, reliability, security, and operational efficiency
• Establish engineering standards, design principles, and best practices across cloud architecture, networking, and security domains
