QA Test Engineer

About the role

The QA Test Engineer is responsible for monitoring, validating, and improving test quality performance by tracking organizational KPIs, ensuring customer and regulatory requirements are met, and supporting compliance through audits and inspections. The role works closely with Test, Operations, Engineering, and Customer Quality Engineering teams to ensure test-related issues are addressed in a timely manner.

What you'll do

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications (ISO, IPC, IATF)
• Conduct audits and inspections of test processes and equipment usage
• Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance test quality and yield
• Analyze test-related quality data, defect trends, and customer complaints
• Lead problem-solving activities using 8D, FMEA, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies

What you need

• 5–9 years in quality assurance & testing
• IATF 16949
• Root cause analysis
• FMEA
• Six Sigma
• Lean
• B.Tech or B.E.
