Reservoir Simulation Engineer

About the role

This role focuses on the application, testing, deployment, and support of Reservoir Simulation and Optimization (RSO) technologies and workflows that enable business value across Chevron's global asset portfolio. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with research and development teams to pilot emerging technologies using field-scale reservoir models, deploy solutions for operational use, and provide ongoing customer support.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with U.S.-based R&D teams to test, pilot, deploy, and support reservoir simulation and optimization technologies and reservoir engineering workflows
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and provide customer support for RSO workflows and digital applications
• Conduct reservoir engineering and simulation studies for a wide range of oil and gas assets
• Perform history matching of production and pressure data and generate forecasts to support field development and optimization decisions
• Contribute to user experience, data management, and digital product development, including e.g., dashboards, visualization tools, machine learning applications

What you need

• 3–7 years in electrical & electronics
