Section Head - Fire

About the role

This role is responsible for leading the fire safety operations within the power plant, ensuring a robust and compliant fire safety environment. This role encompasses managing emergency response protocols, ensure maintenance of firefighting equipment, and conducting regular safety training and drills.

What you'll do

• Oversee fire safety for high-risk areas, particularly fuel storage zones, to prevent fire incidents
• Ensure the standardization of firefighting equipment and appliances, maintaining readiness at all times
• Lead fire risk assessments and implement control management strategies to meet international benchmarks
• Liaise with neighbouring fire services and other agencies like Mutual Aid Response Group (MARG) for collaborative efforts
• Conduct SRFA audits and facilitate technical audits at site

What you need

• 18–30 years in mechanical & production
• Safety management
• SAP
• 5S
• Maintenance
• SOP writing
• Statutory compliance
• B.Tech or B.E.

• MIS reporting
