About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) to design, build, and scale highly reliable backend systems and APIs. This role requires deep backend expertise, strong system design skills, and the ability to operate production-grade distributed systems in a cloud-native environment. Depending on team needs, engineers may focus on product backend systems or platform and foundational infrastructure used across multiple engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Core Responsibilities (All Engineers)
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI / Django)
• Build and evolve robust REST APIs with strong performance, security, and scalability
• Design and optimize data models and queries across SQL and NoSQL systems
• Architect and implement scalable distributed systems
