About the role

The Performance Management Engineer is responsible for analyzing wind turbine operational data to identify areas for performance improvement. This role uses advanced data analytics tools to assess turbine efficiency, power output, and reliability, conducting root cause analysis on performance deviations and implementing corrective actions.

What you'll do

• Responsible for analyzing wind turbine operational data to identify areas for performance improvement
• Analyze operational data from wind turbines to assess performance against expected benchmarks, including power output, efficiency, and availability
• Use advanced data analytics software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, R) to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in turbine performance
• Conduct performance optimization studies, focusing on areas such as blade aerodynamics, control system tuning, and power curve adjustments
• Assist in troubleshooting performance issues on-site, using diagnostic tools to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective measures
