Senior Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Unix/Linux security specialist to join the team an expanding team, solving hard problems and evolving protections. You will need to have a good understanding of the technologies used for the implementation of security initiatives and standards. You will have demonstrable experience in developing, maintaining, advising, and hardening operating systems and common applications.

What you'll do

• Be implementing controls to lockdown and secure systems and devices
• Lead multiple streams of work, project resource requests and out-of-hours/weekend support demands when required
• Evaluate 3rd party security products and associated proof of concept environments
• Provide recommendations on security designs
• Write and maintain appropriate documentation related to the domain area including plans
