Senior Security Engineer

About the role

Leads security engineering efforts for critical systems and services, providing technical direction and hands-on expertise in securing Tekion’s platforms. Partners with cross-functional teams to drive security architecture, threat detection, and proactive risk mitigation.

What you'll do

• Designs and implements advanced security controls across cloud infrastructure, applications, and networks
• Leads threat modeling exercises and security design reviews for high-impact systems and services
• Develops detection mechanisms, incident response playbooks, and remediation strategies
• Drives automation of security operations, including monitoring, alerting, and vulnerability management
• Collaborates with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed security into development pipelines and platform architecture
