About the role

Microsoft Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) is the team behind Microsoft’s expanding Cloud Infrastructure and responsible for powering Microsoft’s “Intelligent Cloud” mission.

What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, and support Frontend CAD flows and methodologies
  • Design, develop, and maintain CAD software, utilities, and automation for FE flows using Python, following disciplined software-engineering practices
  • Build and maintain dashboards and CAD indicators/metrics that provide visibility into flow health, quality, runtime, and design productivity
  • Develop and maintain regression and continuous-integration frameworks to evaluate flow stability, functionality, runtime, and quality of results
  • Analyse results and identify functional, runtime, resource, or quality regressions across tool and flow releases
